Client success stories
At SOOM Pilates, we're dedicated to helping our clients achieve lasting change and improve their quality of life. Here's a story that truly embodies our approach:
One of our most impactful stories comes from a runner preparing for a half marathon. She was battling a persistent ankle injury, experiencing ongoing instability and pain during longer runs. Despite rest and general strengthening, the issue kept returning.
We looked beyond the ankle. Our detailed assessment revealed poor foot control, reduced ankle stability, and compensatory patterns through her knee and pelvis. It wasn’t just a local issue; it was a full-body movement problem.
We implemented a personalised program focusing on foot strength, ankle stability, and hip and core control, while retraining her loading and movement patterns. Each session was adjusted based on her weekly progress.
Within weeks, her pain reduced, and stability improved. Over time, her running felt more controlled and efficient, with no recurring flare-ups. She completed her half marathon pain-free.
"I didn’t realise I was moving like this before, I finally know how to control my body."

A SOOM Pilates success story
What makes us most proud?
What makes us most proud is when clients experience real, lasting change beyond the session itself.
When someone tells us their pain has reduced, their performance is better (whether they're a lifter or a runner), their posture feels more aligned, or their body feels lighter and more stable throughout the week—that’s truly meaningful.
But even more than that, it’s when they begin to understand their body.
Hearing things like, “I didn’t realise I was moving like this before,” or “I finally know how to control my body,”
shows true progress.
We’re especially proud when clients shift from feeling frustrated or limited to feeling confident, capable, and in control.
Ultimately, it’s not just about improving strength or flexibility—it’s about helping people move with awareness, reduce pain, and build a body that feels reliable in everyday life.
If our happy clients were describing SOOM Pilates to a friend, we believe they’d use these three words:
Trust. Precision. Results.
Trust — They feel safe, understood, and confident in the process.
Precision — Every movement is intentional and tailored to their body.
Results — They see and feel real, measurable change over time.
